Setup Guide

Preview

  1. Get a DeepSeek API key

    Visit platform.deepseek.com, create an account, and generate an API key.

  2. Open Echoo settings

    Click the Echoo icon in your menu bar and open Settings.

  3. Configure DeepSeek

    Use the OpenAI-compatible endpoint with DeepSeek's API URL.

  4. Paste your API key

    Enter your DeepSeek API key. It's stored securely in Apple Keychain.

  5. Choose a model

    Select DeepSeek-V3 for text tasks or DeepSeek-R1 for complex reasoning.
